Due to a security bug in the linux operating systems, CCR has moved the November downtime up to Tuesday, 10/25/16 in order to patch all systems. We apologize for the inconvenience and last minute notice but as a protection to all users and your data, we must apply this patch immediately.
Date of downtime: Tuesday, November 1, 2016
Approximate time of outage: 7am-5pm
Resources affected by downtime:
UB-HPC cluster (general-compute, debug, viz, largemem, and gpu partitions)
Industry cluster (compute, scavenger partitions)
PI clusters: MAE, Physics, Chemistry (all partitions)
Portals: WebMO, Remote Visualization
Operating system updates will be done on everything and nodes will be rebooted.
