RESOLVED: 9/30/20: Reports of Panasas problems

This problem has been resolved.  Please report any new problems to ccr-help@buffalo.edu


UPDATE 10/2 12PM:  While Panasas filesystems remain stable, we are still resolving several issues with vendor support.  None of these should affect users' use of the systems so please continue to report any issues you may notice.  Thank you for your patience.


UPDATE 5:10pm - Panasas is stabilized and responding better than earlier.  Please continue to report any problems you encounter.



There are reports of problems with Panasas.  We are investigating.  


This is manifesting in slow file system access, errors of files not being found, jobs not writing to some panasas volumes, and jobs not cancelling properly.
