What will be done:  

• Reboot of all cluster nodes
• Updates of front-end login nodes (vortex1/2, vortex-future) and OnDemand/OnDemand-future
• Infrastructure services updated
• OnDemand 2.0 will be decommissioned.  All users should use OnDemand 3.0.  You'll be able to access via the current URL: https://ondemand-future.ccr.buffalo.edu or the previous one https://ondemand.ccr.buffalo.edu
• Introducing a new method for switching between the legacy and the latest 2023.01 software releases: https://docs.ccr.buffalo.edu/en/latest/howto/newenv/
• Support for Anaconda is no longer offered: https://docs.ccr.buffalo.edu/en/latest/software/modules/#anaconda-python

KNOWN ISSUES:

- RPCI visualization node is currently offline while we troubleshoot an issue.

- This error seen in visualization desktops can be ignore:
"ERROR: ld.so: object 'libdlfaker.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored."

Jobs will be held in queue during the maintenance downtime and will run after the updates are complete.
