RESOLVED: 5/29/24: Vast storage unavailable

5/29/24: 9:40PM The vendor has identified the issue and put a fix in place.  Our systems are back online.  If you were logged into OnDemand during this period, please go to the Help menu at the top right and choose "Restart web server" to force a refresh to your OnDemand session.  If you continue to notice problems, please email ccr-help with details.  Thank you!


Unfortunately, there is an issue with the Vast storage after today's updates.  The vendor is currently troubleshooting what is causing it.  They are very responsive and will work until a fix is in place.  This affects everything that mounts /user, /projects/ and /vscratch.  This includes running jobs accessing any of these folders, the login nodes, the Globus data transfer service, and systems like OnDemand, ColdFront, and the identity management portal.  We will update this alert when we have more information.
