The CCR Identity Management Portal allows users an easy way to reset their password, upload SSH keys, and enable/disable two-factor authentication.

Change Your Password

To change your existing CCR password, login to the identity management portal and click on the Change Password link.  You need to enter your current CCR password and then select a new one.  You can only change your password once per hour.  If you attempt to change it more that, you will get an error and will need to wait for the hour to pass before attempting to change it again.

PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS: You will need to select a strong password that is at least 8 characters and includes a combination of letters and numbers. For information on selecting a strong password, please visit UBIT's password website.


If you do not have two-factor authentication turned on, you will be prompted for the answer to your security question that you set during activation.  You'll also be forced to enter your current password before selecting and confirming a new one:



If you have two-factor authentication turned on, you'll need to enter an OTP code from your mobile app rather than a security question.  You'll also be forced to enter your current password before selecting and confirming a new one:




Reset Forgotten Password

If you forgot your password or can not login using the password you think you set, you can click the "Forgot your password?" link on the login window:


Enter your username and press the Reset button:  


An email will be sent to the address we have on file for you.  Most of the time, this is the user's UB email address.  

The link enclosed in the email has a time limit of just 24 hours so please follow the instructions in the email within this time frame or you will have to go back to the Forgot Password link again.  If you do not get an email within an hour, please check your junk/spam folder and contact CCR help to reset your account.

NOTE: Existing CCR users were required to re-activate their accounts in July 2015.  If you did not do this and select a security question, you will not be able to reset your password on your own in the account portal.  Please contact CCR Help to assist you in activating your account.


Click on the link in the email and you will be directed to the identity management portal.  If you do not have two-factor authentication enabled for your account, you will be prompted to enter a new password, confirm the password and answer the security question you set when activating the account.  If you don't know the answer, you will need to contact CCR help to reset it for you



If you do have two-factor authentication enabled for your account, you'll be prompted to enter a new password, confirm the new password and then enter your one-time token from your OTP app:

Reset Forgotten Authentication Question


Users can not reset their own authentication question.  If you can not remember the answer or you're entering what you believe is the correct answer and it doesn't work, you will need to contact CCR Help to reset the account for you.



Disable Two-Factor Authentication


Directions for disabling two-factor authentication can be found here.  If you can't login because you deleted the OTP app on your device or somehow the token no longer works, you must contact CCR help to have this reset.
