RESOLVED: 11/6/19: OnDemand, ColdFront and LakeEffect Research Cloud offline

This issue has been resolved.  Please report any future problems to ccr-help 


UPDATE: 11/8 10am - we have been continuously engaged with the vendor to assist with an underlying storage problem in the LakeEffect cloud.  Until this is resolved, we can not bring up any services that are running in the cloud, including ColdFront, OnDemand and the Industry Slurm job scheduler.  We are working on bring up some of these services outside of the cloud and hope to have them in place before the end of the day.  Thank you for your patience!



There is currently an issue with the underlying cloud infrastructure that also supports ColdFront and OnDemand.  We are working with the vendor on repairing the issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.


In the meantime, users can login to the cluster using an SSH client, rather than the OnDemand portal.  Instructions for that can be found here:   https://ubccr.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000681530
